I don't want pictures, period.
I just want a unique metaphor or two for someone with perfectly normal (not bushy or anything like Oscar's caterpillar-like eyebrows). Anyone have ideas?

something like "She raised an eyebrow in mild confusion, the lifted brow rising like the slender tail of a cat before it pounces"? Not really sure what you mean, specifically.

or if you want really confused - "She furrowed her brow in confusion."

metaphors aren't always needed to convey meaning. overly descriptive metaphors can throw off the pacing and just leave the whole thing feeling clunky.

That's exactly the type of thing I'm hoping for! Thank you!!! I'm trying to evoke certain images. Visuals are really important for my story!

(Character) quirked her eyebrow, and deadpanned “Really.”
