Writing Deciding the Names

I have created a few names for the characters whose background are set in an interstellar time period with slight sci-fi/traditional fusion in clothing. But the story the characters are in, tend to give off a translated web novel vibe. I intend to keep it that way.

But I want to be sure about the best way to introduce or call these characters' names.

Which one is better according to the readers or viewers of this post when determining the character's names?

Shui Yin. It sounds like the name someone would use while addressing a friend.

Well, probably they're just surprised and want to slap MC, a.k.a chinese musclehead with low IQ always seeking death and always wants to fight any kind of anomaly and incomprehensible things they found.

Min Shuiyin for full name, Shuiyin or Min when being spoken to or about. Separating Shui and Yin makes it sound like a fake name.

As someone who speaks Chinese, Yin yin would be how friends refer to her.
