So in many stories, the main group would keep fighting stronger and stronger enemies, in most, they wouldn't kill them. Either they are drafted and just disappear from the story, or join the group. So imagine a big bad villain noticing that none of his minions died from the heroes team, they think they're safe. So when they are confronted by the heroes they're confident that they won't be killed. The heroes, hearing stories about how powerful the big bad is, are ready to put theirs all into the fight from the start. And the air of confidence that the big bad is radiating is just reinforcing their thoughts.

However, this whole time the big bad isn't that strong. Their smart and a great planner, but physically weak, so they have their minions do the heavy lifting, and when in battle use tricks and lots of planning to win. But because he is undefeated, people assume he must be super strong. So with the heroes misunderstanding of the big bad's strength, and the big bad confident that the sickenly good heroes won't kill them. The battle ends with the hero killing the big bad in one attack. putting their all in that one attack to end the fight quickly, assuming the big bad would do the same.

This leads to the hero getting their first actual kill, the first time a person's blood is on their hands. Imagin, the hero on their knees, blood covering their body, the body of the big bad in front of them. The shock of it all being too much to handle, causing them to faint. Yes, there is peace again in the lands, but now people are warry of the hero. He showed that he is willing to kill, and it's hard to think that he killed the big bad by accident.

Not sure what would happen next, but I just think that this is a very funny concept. So what are your thoughts?

The first part missing is obviously the witness of such event and the one who spreads the word of a killer hero(Great role of a possible future villian BTW).

Sounds great.

the hero is running to defeat the demon king, his most strongest, ferocious, ruthless foe. the hero closed the distance, and throw his punch with mountain shaking force, and unleashed his most destructive power " THE FLAME OF APOC...." SPLAT, he didn't even finish his attack when the shockwave of his punch make the demon king smear on the ground.

I love this idea of a traumatized rookie hero... It's a tragedy but hilarious in concept, and could lead to some interesting story arcs.
Like after being villianised by the public, they would try to find out what went wrong and why they won so easily.
Discover the secret lair of the villian and learn they had a sad backstory. Try to revive them so they have a fair fight this time.
A government with dirty secrets (of course) and shenanigans.
All the while the story has crack vibes with funny dialogue. :blob_joy:

That would be awesome!!

I kind of thought that the one who would spread the tale of the killer hero would be a minion of the big bad who started to follow the hero, thinking that even if they defeat their boss, their boss would still live. However, after witnessing the death of their boss to the hero who they thought would be different from the rest who just kills all their foes. Feeling betrayed they would try to get their revenge by trying to not kill the hero but kill their reputation as a perfect hero instead.
