So, I wanted to ask readers... if its a harem story and if someone gives your 'waifu' a cure for her vampirism, what would you do? Do you tell her to take it, and then have to watch her age like a poor human? Or keep her immortal but having to drink blood?

And... what kind of side effects do you think would come with converting someone back to being a human from vampirism?

I ask you, "why does it have to be in this way, that the harmful traits of being a vampire are gone, but also those that are beneficial? Simply go the Chinese route, and give her a bloodline refining pill or other substance that can refine her bloodline, thus removing the weakness of having to drink blood, the concept of sun, and silver, among others, whilst keeping the beneficial traits."

It's an interesting notion. I'd say make mc offer it to her after hiding for a certain while before guilt attacks him. But then the love interest says 'no, I want to be with you forever.' Maybe add a side effect to the cure. That instead of drinking blood they now have to serve for whoever gives them the cure or maybe even a condition that if they ever step on sun they vanish completely.

This sounds very controlling. Is MC an abusive boyfriend? The girls can only do what he allows them to?

This adds another good question, is MC also a vampire or just this one woman in his harem?

Envy is a furry confirmed. lol jk

Its her choice.

She can do what she wants.
This is the best answer I think, but the question remains: What does she choose?

That's nice!

There are many completely different types of vampirism, and the value of its advantages and disadvantages changes depending on the environment.

Depends on the story to be honest and is the MC also immortal? Does the vampire girl like being a vampire? Is being a vampire a genuine danger for them? Nonetheless in my personal opinion being vampire is cool so why cure it? Especially in a harem… if the MC can’t give one of his or hers girls their own blood then that MC is quite undeserving of a harem or even a girlfriend for that matter-nya.

It's practically just another liquid cure meant to deal with.

Not all Vampirism are good. Most of the time they just became parasite.

The "abuse" accusation are very stupid here. Of course she can do what she wants.

But MC is considering giving option or not is also their choice as well. And he is making sure if MC offering it would result in her suffering side effects or not.

And does your MC an immortal or something ?

Usually vampire don't become human again unless the cure is strong enough.

You can attribute vampirism of human as some kind of disease from deficiency and parasitism at the same time.

You have to make sure the things that make elher a vampire part dont kill her when you trirs to remove them. You can call it a second evil parasitic personality of sort, like maliciously injected inner demon.

The side effect depens on how much damage left by the vampire part.

It's like killing a demon in Frieren that got injected into human.

You will be a slave to human blood.
That's an interesting point to. Like would they still try to drink it after coming back to human, from the addiction side?

I kind of don't like vampires that much. But maybe people are fascinated really with the idea of not getting old. Character doesn't have to be immortal, but sounding long lived sounds appealing in some ways.

Attributing it to a disease is a good idea. That way you aren't 'undead'.

Thank you for the comment.
