Hi!
Finding betas is difficult! How about we swap?
What I like: Fantasy, LGBTQ+ themes and characters, deep introspective character building, a flair for the unique. I don't mind subversive themes as long as they aren't gratuitous and they serve a clear purpose.
My book: The Ember In The Ash, Book 1 of the Sisterhood of Ash. This is a working book title since i just found out about another more famous book with a very close name, but the Sisterhood stands. Epic Dark Fantasy focused on healthy queer romances and deep introspective character building. TW for subversive themes and trauma. This book is a fictional recreation of my own past. It is everything to me.
I would like to set up a link and share a chat about our works together. I would prefer someone who is willing and has the energy to start reading soon, because I will start reading same day. I understand life comes first, and I'm looking for a swap from a person who understands this. I will get through your work likely in under a week, but life happens and it could be a little longer. I don't expect you to sit and read it all the way right now, but I do want an active critique partner. So, if that fits, hit me up!
Cora!
