So, I was dabbling with Playground AI until I got this image that, tbh, goes really effing hard:

I only have one question. If readers on SH and RR see this, will they click on it?

They would probably click on it but I would Photoshop the title in there somewhere. Otherwise, it's just a pic and not really a cover.

Any chance there's a really good title maker program out there? The only thing that pops up in my head is Canva.

Not that I know of. You'll have to come up with the title on your own. You could submit your premise to the forums and ask what they think a good title would be. As for a title making program, I just use MS paint.

Personally, I'd advise against putting the title in the picture, actually. It clutters it up, and SH's thumbnail resolution is too small to see the text anyways. It can work, but that picture probably won't allow it.

It's a nice picture though.

I'd click on it if it had a unique title to go with it

Completely free; only register, and that is it. You don't need to pay only if you find a template that is premium. But as there are tons of great free ones, that is no issue. Just choose one, swap out the background image for one you made, format the text to your liking, and download it as an image. Quick, easy, and user-friendly.

Honestly, as a piece of art it looks quite cool. only issues id say it has is 1. without a title, what it depicts is somewhat unknown so readers are less likely to investigate compared to if they somewhat know what to expect, and 2. Novels that depict the MC tend to get more views. If you have a male mc, try and generate an image with both the mc and a female love interest (if relevant), and if you have a female mc, just have her.

That said, the fact is colorful makes it stand out which is what I find a lot of novel covers lack. without some vibrancy, many novels get easily overlooked! either way, despite the minor issues I have mentioned it is honestly quite good!
