Comments on unpublished chapters

Like the title says; I have a few chapters of one of my stories scheduled for release, and I was wondering if it would be possible to add the ability to add comments to them. This way the comment would show up right away under the chapter when it gets published. Right now if I try to do so, I get an error (I guess this is so because the chapter isn't "live" but only scheduled).

This obviously would be restricted to authors, since other users can't see unpublished chapters.

This request, of course, assuming it won't break anything; because I know there's a comment feed ("The lounge") where new comments show up. It's just a minor thing, don't do it if it would require too much effort :)

Why would you want such a feature? I mean, as the author you can simply add an author’s comment at the end of the story

Just stay up late/early and add it manually
Just kidding. I also can't think of a reason why you'd put anything in comments rather than a note. Emojis, perhaps?
Comments can be bad since if you get a lot of other comments and likes on those, your own comment might be drowned out afterwards.
