So, the MC was given an excessively bad start to as a way to make it seem fine for him to get the overpowered system latter?

Losing an eye and leg to protect his siblings? In bad areas that means you can't protect them anymore and people would go after them.

If the MC came through all he did in the synapsis and was reasonable sane, that would be unbelevable. He would have serious mental issues.

Oh, and the OP is the author, so this was just posted to drum up readerships

The thread is actually meant to grab readership, as clearly stated in the thread title. The synopses have a significant impact on the MC's mindset. For instance, in the latest chapter, his sword pierces straight through a man's neck, exits through his mouth, and pins his head to the floor in an instant. While this action might seem brutal, it was entirely reasonable given what the MC had endured.

Imagine being subjected to something so horrifying: having your fingers broken one by one, then cut off individually, your legs crushed into powder, and finally being relentlessly beaten with a hammer.

Wouldn't anyone react the same way in such a situation?
