Chapter 33: Misdelivered - of the story "Cameron to Candy"

In this chapter, Marcus struggles with red ink in his accounts despite Candy’s (his gender flipped best freind turn forced marraige wife) claw-back of Ministry fines. He rides his mare Hearthwind into town for a land-deal meeting with a wealthy but sexist noble, Lord Trevane. As he rides out of town nostalgia is triggered upon seeing teens play the card game "Seven Seals", and he himself recalling childhood hours of playing it with Cameron & Greg. He thinks of Candy’s birthday and maybe getting her a new set. Meanwhile, Candy meets new neighbor Susie Cropley, who arrives with cookies & a suspiciously misdelivered parcel and a painfully upbeat attitude. Will Marcus secure the deal?
