Hi All.
Can someone please explain the above things which are available for a creator? Some of the parameters are self explanatory but I am more curious about the difference between "Views" , "Favourites" and "Readers". There is also a view count in each chapter. I would be grateful if someone explained it all.
Thanks. :)

I am also new at the site, but I'll try my best. As I understand it :
-Views are the amount of people who click on the title of the story and view the front page. (Not the number of people who actually reads the chapters, that number is on every chapter's own page)
-Favorites show total of how many likes individual chapters got.
-Readers show how many people follow the story, as in they get a notification when it updates.

Hope these are correct.

Readers: the people that added your novel to their reading list.

Favorites: are the amount of those heart you see in a chapter, and how much you have in total.

Views: is the views of the novel's page plus the views of each chapter, all together.

is what I think
This. I thought it was pretty obvious.

"Views" - you can see how many views your entire story has.
Favourites - about this I am not sure, but you can se how many have liked your(how many had hit that heart shape thingy) novel
Chapters-it shows how many chapters your story has
Chapters/week-how many chapters you write in one week, you can change this in your novels settings I think.
Readers-how many person that read your novel/how many have put your novel in that reading list I believe
Reviews-how many reviews(from other people) your book had got.
Words- how many words your entire book has.
6 hours-that's the last time you updated.

I hope I was correct and that my explications were good enough for you. If I got your question wrong I deeply apologise.

Can the author really change chapters/week by number? I thought the site gave the number automatically.

I already checked. I dont think you can change that. Unless you need to achieve enough reputation to unlock those.

Anyway, I'm not sure either.

Well, I didn't set any number for my story, and it was set 2 chapters per week on its own (it's not accurate btw). I would like to change it if I could.

It updates every week. So, if you release two chapters already, right before the update, that would be your number for this week. After that, the counter resets for the next week's update.

That I do not know, it was only a guess. But I think you are right, I just saw that on my novel today how it changed from 1ch/week to 2ch/week.

Yeah SH seems to think it knows your update schedule better than you do.

The real question of the day being, does SH count your own pageviews on your own story? I've tried to test this with the F5 button a bunch but it's tricky. I don't think it does, but I've seen some weird referrer hits.

Yes, it does. becomes negligible with more readers, however.
update schedule normalises after 4 weeks (or 30 days, I am not sure exact interval) in the beginning it counts weeks before you started writing as 0 so the update number is lower. This is actually a blessing in disguise - your trending ranking is positively affected by a lower update number.

Ah, damn -- Thank you, appreciate the info. Though, this'll be excellent stuff to keep in mind later on post-NaNoWriMo (in which I either edit my NaNoWriMo story, or trashfire it, I don't know yet)
