8 — 11/1/2018 — 12:15:36 AM — 4 years, 2 months, and 29 days ago

I reviewed the logs and noticed that the dates of the logins actually lined up perfectly with holidays. Here's what I found:
June 5, 2019: Dragon Boat Festival
May 5, 2019: Labor Day
April 5, 2019: Qingming Festival
March 2, 2019: Lantern Festival
January 31, 2019: Spring Festival Eve
November 1, 2018: Mid-Autumn Festival

Look, I get it—you might think I'm some creepy stalker or something for analyzing these dates and times so closely. Well, I am a kinda like an private investigator—I managed to obtain access to these records and logs through my vast network of contacts and sources.

Is this legal? Well, it's a bit of a gray area, to be honest. You see, I don't work for the police, and neither do I work for any official investigative agency. This may sound cliché and like other stories you've read before but I'm a transmigrator! Let's just pretend I didn't break the fourth wall by sharing that with you.

But anyways, Three weeks ago I was reading a webnovel called

1) Need good writing skills
2) It can be redundant after a while. Even deadpool dont do it often (or do it in big intervals)

So yes, but risky move.

It’s very cliche to say that it’s cliche that the MC transmigrated. I would stop reading from this type of fourth walling because I’d think I’m getting a cliche novel imitating cliches. Well, I would maybe read it if the intro didn’t bore me.

In reality, I’d stop at the list of dates.

Honestly, I don't mind cliches as much and the story text portion doesn't bother me much, but I would get bored by the logs and entries as well. I think it's less about what you can do and more so finding the right audience, though.

I was about to do something like this for my story (I am still writing the first chapter after being on it for about 3-4 years). I was gonna have the viewer's POV be an actual thing in the story, something like a soul. and I was gonna have the MC acknowledge the reader. But I scraped it because I felt it would detract from the dark fantasy setting I am writing. Though I have an idea of how it would work. but I am not confident in doing that right.

Yep.
Me and envy, have the same opinion on this.
When a cliche is done too often, it become the norm and no longer a cliche.

Its like recent 3A games. Look at all this characters trying to be quirky and sassy like deadpool/spiderman, always trying to joke in serious situation or having a retort.
Or the "lightning eye" in manhwa. Or the SHITTY "zigzag rush" in fights in manhwas (sure it looks boring if direct line/teleportation-speed but god the zigzag is overdone and cringe now).
Or like any villains has a sob story. (People forgot that there exist the part, where the villain HAS a sob story BUT NOT REDEEMABLE AND STILL BE DISLIKED)

+also agree about the "numbers/date" part. I would also drop.
Not a tlder but somehow it feels weird. And too much like a receipt.
And also most CNs i read, would probably write the MC try to tell in a good way or his reasoning/analyze of it. WITHOUT BREAKWALL.

the trouble with this is that it can come off as overly conversational/casual if you don't do it right, which can be a major turn-off. using it sparingly or at important moments, like the people above said, can save ya.

Oh gosh, you procrastinated longer than me. Holy moly.

Well then, now that you've said that, I now no longer feel like a useless fudging thing.

Yeah.

Also, to make matters worse, my father told me to write down documents about Digital Simulation. And you know for sure there wasn't much stuff explaining Digital Simulation. So, I was forced to read a hundred and eighty page syllabus containing the standard SimDig curriculum I found on the internet that was released 6 years ago!

I would've completed the syllabus under 2-3 hours but... Man, the thing was so dull and stale.

That sounds tedious and annoying. (I think I had another word/phrase in mind while reading your reply, but it slipped my mind.)
