You know lately anime shows just don't feel like they have passion and soul in them. I recently started watching a classic. Its called space brothers. brothers trying to be aspiring astronauts. Or the main mc just lost direction in life and was fired but he finds some motivation to become an astronaut just like his little brother.

This is not a fantasy show it's a show about realism and Space Brothers delivers hard. Would recommend anyone to try it. Better than all the things out currently. No teens no highschool etc. Solid ost imo

Err, I can't name 15 isekais with a good plot, I can't name 15 horror anime with a good plot and so on. I know that some people would reply to this comment and actually name 15 isekais or horrors, but our definitions of a good plot would differ a lot.

Uchuu Kyoudai is the best slice-of-life anime I've watched and can recommend it to anyone any day.
It's only a pity that rarely people take the initiative to try it even after my recommendation *sigh*

Just recommend. Maybe someday they might try. Shows like these deserve to not be forgotten. Space brothers is like a decade old.

Komi cant communicate and kaguya are cringe tbh.
The only one i truly like in this list is a silent Voice. Half of the reason because the main theme is self acceptece and not romance.

And if you're asking me to recommend an anime, I honestly can't recommend any anime because the majority of anime go way too much in one extreme. I think I posted a thread about this before. Some anime are enjoyable despite what genre they're in, and others... even if I like the genre (and it's popular) I just can't stand it. Fire Force is an example, an action anime that despite loving action I just cannot watch and absolutely hate it.
