Resolved Asked to confirm email, but it is already confirmed

I can't respond to a commeht because SH says: "Please confirm your email first. You cannot post comments until your account is confirmed.", but when I go to the relevant setting, it says "Email (Confirmed)" (and I did indeed confirm my email).

For full measure I revisited the confirmation link, but then I get "This account has been confirmed already. No need to keep confirming this account. "

Suggestions?

I vaguely recall having this issue when I signed up as well... You can try restarting your browser or your computer. If neither of those work, you'll just have to wait for it to update properly.

Oh! The last time this happened, the person was using a VPN. If you have one set up, try messing with that and see if it helps.

even though i already made and acc and confirmed my email...i cant comment on any novels for some reason...does anyone now why??? (and yes i am logged in etc)

Tried it in another browser, which worked flawlessly, so I guess it is indeed a matter of cookies. Thanks Cipiteka and AliceShiki
