:blob_paint: :blob_paint: :blob_paint: This is obviously a poll for narcissists!

Welcome to the High School of Death and Doom! As new members of the matriculating class, as usual we have the annual death game.
This year, the contest is very simple.
There are 10,000 students in your class.
At the end of the academic year, as part of final exams, every student will be given a blank sheet of paper and be told to write down every name that they can remember off of the top of their heads. If you are in the bottom 50% (in terms of "least remembered" by other students) the school will make sure to "dispose" of you in a horrible way.
In other words, you have one year to make other students remember your name!

1. At the end of the year, what percentile do you think you would be at in terms of "most memorable"?

2. What's your strategy to attract attention and get other students to recognize your name?

3. Suppose that there's someone's name that you remember, but you really hate them. Would you intentionally neglect to write down their name at the end of the year? Does this mean you need to be both memorable and likable?

4. Suppose in the last month of the school year, the headmaster pulls out an evil twist and actually only the top 10% of most memorable people get to survive. Do you think you would be in the top 10%? If not, would you change your strategy in an attempt to be more memorable?

5. Is narcissism bad? Why?

6. Suppose this scenario was inverted, and the least memorable people get to survive. Do you have a strategy for being less memorable?

Depends. Is it good attention? Bad attention? Attention in general?

1. Not quite sure, but with the right strategy, I might be able to make a large number of people remember me.

2. First and foremost I have to make my name know so, I have to write it on my self in an eye-catching way(to make people remember both me and my name), maybe write it on my shirt, tattoo it on my forehead, or for example, go naked and tattoo it on my whole body if there is no rule against nudism.

3. It doesn't matter whether I hate them or not, I will write no one's name, I don't think I will remember any of them anyway.

4. Probably.

5. Depends on the level of it, if it is moderate, at the level of just maybe overconfident, I guess it's all right.

6. Easy, I won't attend classes.

I'd switch schools or dropout, otherwise I'll more than likely end up in the very bottom 1%.

The best strategy is to run into class topless on the first day and do a cheerleading dance that spells out your name. Repeat it throughout the year. You'll die of shame, but at least that's metaphorical.
That should probably get you in the top 10%, so long as you make an effort to actually talk to your classmates outside of that.
(Although that depends on what zany stuff they're doing. There might come a point where being normal is more eye-catching than deliberately seeking attention.)

Personally, I wouldn't be able to bring myself to deliberately leave someone out - unless it meant that they might be picked to survive over someone I liked.

As for being less memorable... I'm screwed. According to my old university peers, I'm eye-catching even when I'm just chilling and shuffling back and forth from class like a zombie.
