I'm in the mid of restructuring a few programs. So I decided to explore the font option. Anyone you want to recommend from your experience? Basically, I would set up this font as the default for my browser as well as word and so on. Would love to try new thing.

Comic Sans
This one is quite hard to figure out the letters if the font size was small. With my eyesight getting worse, I found font that with more features (but not too excessive) like Times New Roman better.

I usually use the classic ones like Arial, Calibri and Times New Roman. But there are some like Arial Nova, Century Gothic, Franklin Gothic Book, Gill Sans Nova and Verdana Pro which have more rounded characters that might make it easier to read.
Also, the background color also affects your eyesight when you're reading, so maybe look into that as well. I keep the background of my Kindle app in Sepia color, or else I can't read more that a few minutes without my eyes tearing out.

Serif fonts sucks ass for monitor screen.

Fun and quibbly font like Comic Sans isn't good, not even if your program targeted at child.

Arial, Calibri, Segoe UI is good if you're planning to send your program without pre-installed font.

Segoe UI is a good font that were used for Windows 7 User Interface.

Fonts like this are the best
Every letter is the same width

Much easier to read than others
i also like this one. i use basic text documents to write my notes, and that is the basic font it gives you. I also like how it looks like writing from a typewriter - could be a good font for a noir crime thriller

Poppins, Noir Pro, Montserrat, Helevitca, Gotham, etc are my favorite some good serif fonts.
Then there's also Oswald family which is thin and tall fonts, good for title and compact fonts.
Bebas neue is all caps font can be useful for headlines.

I'm working as an advertisement maker and for me any font is good while it's readable. For reading I like sans-serif fonts like Tahoma or Arial, because readability is a king
