E-ink has probably been my favorite piece of technology since I got a Kindle 2 as a gift. I later got a Paperwhite and loved it, too. It was so good to read books with. (I say "was" bc I read a lot more on my phone these days since I'm reading off websites. My older paperwhite isn't too great for that...)
Then I discovered the ReMarkable 2 and found the perfect marriage of the benefits of handwriting with digital.
I've had and used it for a few years now and it's been worth every penny, even if I'm saving up for a Boox Air Note 3 atm.*
It's been such a blessing for writing and notes. Hand-written first drafts have been particularly helpful for my stories. I can type faster than I write (by a lot lol), but the handwriting really does help me slow down and focus on what I'm writing. Then I can catch all my mistakes while I type it.
I should look into a smaller reader that can handle the web. So I can get my reading benefits back too. Lol.
If you want more info, My Deep Guide has a million product reviews to compare all the lovely e-ink tablets on the market now. :D
*The ReMarkable is a great device, but it's pretty old and in sort of a locked system. I don't want to use their cloud service, so getting files off it is a pain. T-T Boox products run Android and are better quality overall at this point. Time to upgrade.
