Any tips for building a star-based training technique?

"Fit like the North Star: A comprehensible guide to punching things" like this? Or more like kung-fu style cultivation techniques with sanctimonious overuse of grand-sounding adjectives?

Check up on astrology for inspiration. Celestial bodies and constellations, and their relative movements and positions, have meanings.

Would you consider photosynthesis as a star-based training technique?
How about sunbathing to grind for higher levels of Vitamin D?
I don't know, I think I've decided since then that there are probably more accessible stars.

So I've been busy trying to determine whether or not Jeff Goldblum would be associated with a Palm Style or a Footwork Technique.

Do you mean Star Ranked (1-x stars instead of raw numbers)
Based on celebrities (Sex Appeal ranked from Gilbert Gottfried (low - especially since he's dead) to Raquel Welch (high, even though she also is))
or based on power from the stars?
Or was that a typo that meant "stat based" as in "based on statistics"?

Constellations are the base of magic; their shapes replace the typical formulas in spell circles.

Impact craters are holy places; they have remnant celestial energy.

High elevations are buffs: closer to the stars.

Allow me to take a moment and redirect your attention to the prior comment (quoted below).
Saint Seiya
This is one of the best, if not the absolute best, reference point for what you're looking for.
HADES chapter was the best of the best as well.
Even if it was the typical "super-sentai" meets "battle-shonen" formula, the execution was spectacular, and the lore was exceptionally deep, and well-delivered.

Maybe have 4 stars for each cardinal point, each with its own powers and affinity depending on the person. Think of it like Alpha Centauri giving your MC super strength, speed, or something like that. Strengths and weaknesses, you know.

And maybe some evil villain might be able to use the energy of the four stars, and your character must learn to dominate each to defeat him (I stole this idea from Avatar).

Hit astro science and astrology plus some constellation

Since you're using the stars anyway you can strengthen them with the power of constellation and their believes

I've almost finished creating the training method. It took about a week to make it work with the energy system in the novel's world and to make it easy for the reader to understand. I incorporated some ideas from comments that helped expand the technique even further. The only thing left is the name of the technique... Do you have any ideas?

"Astromancy" sounds cool, but that's actually a real-life practice of divination by watching the stars, so that might be confusing.
This technique is far removed from astrology, but it will have a connection to the zodiac. I will explain this further in a separate section. The practitioner of this technique must create a star map within the core that matches the star maps in the sky. As the star map rotates within the core, it attracts star mana, which is then converted into energy that feeds small stars within 360 acupuncture points. Each acupuncture point feeds 360 star cells. A total of 360,000 star cells strengthen and enhance the body. The star maps within the core must be aligned with a specific constellation. The power of each constellation varies. The more star maps imprinted within the core, the faster the practitioner will attract star mana. This is just a part of the technique, or at least the basic part. I am thinking of a name: The Tyrant Star Body Refinement Technique
Explain the technique and it's limitations
I explained part of it in my reply to someone, please refer to it. Regarding the technical limitations, I've designed 5 levels so far. It took a lot of time and thought to make them balanced and logical, with clear strengths and weaknesses, because the technology won't be exclusive to the protagonist.
