A story where MC has magical space where he/she can farm, raise animals, create items and upgrade buildings then bring them out. I know it's already cliche but if you know one or plan to make one, lemme know! (I already read QQ Farm, I even braved MTLing the raws and it's quite cute)
... eh well ... um. I sorta ... wrote something like this. Or, rather, "borrowed heavily from" one popular CN WN.
Now you may have (should have!) heard of one briefly called 'Bringing the Farm' which is a long running CN series. I did/do write a spoofed alternative using the same story premise ... with obvious twists. I uploaded a few chaps already of it to my Royal Road account (probably end up pulling it or something, maybe bring it here someday).
The biggest (spoiler alert) twists are the genderflipping and renaming of characters - the MC is in my spoof of it is not a NEET guy, but a hormonal/perverted teenage girl got kicked from high school and home alone starts 'copypasta'-ing from that novel, while trying to make it more 'ecchi'.
But then I bring in an etotistical god who 'punishes' her, making her not only rewrite it in his domain but also forces her to live as the male MC. Kinda cruel irony but, hey I was playing with the thought of 'gender identity' what comes after the genderflip happens? Is the character female because 'she' wants to be, even while in the male body - or a 'he' who unfortunately got a female soul dragged inside?
Also plays heavily into her knowing the original tale, knowing her own forced edits in the god's space, but also not knowing what further tweaks this deity wrote by himself into 'her' story. The way events come up in the story may (at first) follow the same 'BtF' plot progression; but I was getting to the point of allowing the girl to break free and do something not seen by the CN story.
Plus early romance options, with a certain slave girl who likes 'the young master' which is really a female soul inside the male protag body. This girl is going to be confused for a while, although genre savvy and story savvy too - she tries to avert the 'forced sleep' which happens in the story, but cannot.
Well anyway. I can't say any of this premise is actually any good, so much as my attempt to place a character into a forced storyline while letting her try to 'subvert' its linear nature, by her own knowledge of how she would like to have it happen.
I remember that 4 to 5 years ago, there was a trend of novels like this on RR. These eventually evolved into dungeon core novels. I can't really remember any title, but if there is anywhere you could find such a story, it would be on RR (probably in Hiatus).
