Any commission artist have people ask you question about ocs

when you don’t know anything about them and just created the for your client. Even when it’s perfectly stated it’s not your character, show a link to client, they still ask a question like they don’t know what a commission is.

Someone asked a commission artist a question a drawing of my oc they did for me, and they basically told them not my character talk to the owner, which is me.

Well, did not receive a message from that user who asked questions. Why not ask me? Literally a link to me?

OP commissioned an artist. Artist did the commission and posted that pic in their portfolio\profile. Random user asked artist, "who is it in the pic?" Artist said go ask the one who commissioned me. Random user didn't do it. OP is either pouty or puzzled or both.

Such thing happens. I've experienced a few in Deviant Art before I closed my account.

when I do a comm post I always mention who the OC is and who it belongs to.

usually I ask the client if they wanna be mentioned/tagged. I also ask them for a blurb of the who the OC is when making the post.

The artist labeled it is a commission piece. Wrote it was my oc and added the link to my profile if they want to know more. Why that other user thought the artist would know more is beyond me.

See some people just never read the descriptions. it’s also beyond me as well. Either they’re genuine or trolls.
