An alchemist too good at his job. Whatever potion he brews, they show effects much greater than all other potions.

He once brew a potion of cold resistance and fire resistance and drank both. Instead of protecting him from these elements, potions made it so, every atom in his body never gained or lost any energy. Thus protecting him from cold, and heat.

Or the other day, he made a truth serum after being asked directly by the king. The serum worked, only problem was that instead of making the consumer unable to tell lies, it warped the reality itself to make lies the truth.

Royal court is still trying to fire him, but he made good friends with HR and he technically does what you told them to.

That would also block kinetic energy as well, though and probably kill him...

I prefer the "Zone of Truth" effect - nobody within hearing range of the person taking the potion, including the person taking it, is capable of telling a lie. Nobody.
"Answer me or I'll threaten to cut your hand off, even though I never would... UGH! Damned potion! Where is that stupid Alchemist?"
"I'm hiding behind the throne... uh oh..."
Royal court is still trying to fire him, but he made good friends with HR and he technically does what you told them to.
As an aside, I kind of had an alchemist like this as a background element in a D&D game once - he was being framed because someone found out two of his potions could bring plants to hostile life if combined, and used that to make it look like the alchemist was trying to destroy a local vineyard by animating the grapes to attack...

That is stasis. That is like, the definition of stasis.

Potentially good idea, but you either need to completely handwave causes or look into them in much more detail.
