Am I doing text boxes right?

I don't believe there IS a right or wrong way to do it. I don't use text boxes at all, just a conversational note from VICC to the Traveler.
A Traveler can call up their status but I've never bothered with formatting it as ... well, I didn't plot out that part that far ahead. And Dane doesn't really care. Some of the other Travelers might, especially the ones with Cheats ...

Also, screen readers skip tables. So, adding text boxes to novels is giving the middle finger to the visually impaired. Well, unless the text boxes are just filler, then you are doing them a favor.

I don't think 3 lines is really needed for that little bit of information. I would shorten it to only two lines, unless you have more info you want to add.

Melchi has a good point. The... real headache in this is textboxes and all that stuff can look screwy on 1 device (with a small screen) but not necessarily on another with a big screen. That's why its such a pain.
