Adding this thread for my other story here since Episode 1: Chapter 1 just dropped a couple of hours ago.
It's a beast of a chapter to be sure, as per the standard for my prose landing just shy of the higher end of my average (6500 words), and I do hope it delivers on everything that I've promised for the story thus far.

As per the rest of it, the current poll question for the readers is: "What should Isabel do?"
The response with the most likes/reactions will be what happens to open Episode 1: Chapter 2 so long as it is in line with her character.

What you need to know about her character:
  • She is an Assertive Extrovert with a Punk-Goth attitude and rebellious streak.
  • She is a friend of Tobias' and has been since they were kids, but only recently reconnected with him
  • She has self-worth insecurities that she hides deep down.
  • She doesn't trust (partially because of what happens in Chapter 1) Jaeyla.
  • She is the second of the leading ladies in the story, and does harbor a secret crush on Tobias. She has since they were kids, but never told him.
Let the shenanigans commence.

Chapter 2 just dropped.
And with it, a new discussion question.
"Who should be at the door?"
You'll find all the relevant info at the end of Episode 1: Chapter 2 - Welcome to Earth.

I managed to fit both story beats from the chapter 3 poll into the chapter this time as well.
Dani opens, Lance closes.
No new questions yet, but I am open to fan/reader theories on whose pulling the strings for those two unmarked town-cars at the end of Chapter 3.
Can't say more here. If you want to know more, you'll have to read to find out.
