Resolved Account Ban Appeal- would like clarification

Hello,
I recently discovered that my account was banned from ScribbleHub. The message said: “You have been banned. If you believe this is a mistake, please contact the administrator.”

I believe this might be an error or misunderstanding, My novel was written entirely by me, All the chapters were manually written and carefully edited.

I tried to follow all site rules, and I was not given a warning or reason before the ban. I would really appreciate if someone from the staff could review my case and let me know what happened or what I can do to restore my account.

"I was already unbanned, but the bot banned me again. Apparently, it was a mistake the first time, according to what they told me, but it has happened again. Judging from the previous incident and this new one, I believe it's banning me for responding to my followers in the chat. That's my theory, anyway."

I already sent an email just in case, lol. This had already happened to me — just a day ago, lol. I sent an email and they unbanned me, but now it happened again.
From what they told me, it was a bot that banned me by mistake, but now it’s doing it again.
So, my theory is that the bot is banning me just for replying to messages.
I think they should fix that, because otherwise it’s going to keep banning me over and over again, lol.
And well, I really don’t want that to keep happening.
I hope they can solve that issue.

What they had told me was that my story was great and they were basically congratulating me. I replied thanking them and encouraging them to keep supporting the story. Then the reader I mentioned to you told me to communicate on Discord because they wanted to talk more about my book and things like that. That’s what I understood, and then when I was about to reply, the bot banned me. That’s it.

Sounds like you were a potential scammer victim (that "Let's move somewhere that the admins won't boot me from when I take you for all your money" thing - Instagram, Discord, WhatsApp, etc. is a classic scammer tactic) and the bot that was supposed to autoban the scammer also autobans the target.

Oh, I see, thanks for the clarification. Although of course, it would be very dumb or naive if I fell for a scam—especially if they wanted to take my money. Of course, that wouldn’t happen in my case, but maybe someone else did get scammed that way. But oh well, everything happens for a reason, and well, now I’m not banned anymo lol

Yeah, this was absolutely a scammer. It's a common strategy, praise your work to hook you in, and then offer you art, exposure or other services, or ask you to talk through a different platform.

If you see this, do not engage them anymore and report them.

EDIT: Actually, I remember for sure emwat32, your other follower, was a scammer too, so you apparently got caught in the crossfire.

Same here. I was replying to messages people sent me about my novel, and after a few replies I suddenly couldn’t send anything. Then I got logged out, and when I tried to log back in it said my account was banned. Hopefully support gets back soon.
