For example:

One person might try to find redemption; another might built a vehicle to outrun the sunset and extend his days.

Knowing that they will die in 100 days, what do these people do?

Can you be more specific? I didn't understand anything you were saying.

But I understand something; maybe I'm not sure? If I understand it correctly,

Then I will write a story about two friends who go out into the world in search of redemption.

While one of them failed, another became successful.

Something like that?

The first line is just showing some examples of possible stories.

The premise is intentionally vague because I didn't plan it through all the way the exact means by which they were cursed isn't very important.

The actual writing prompt is about what these people choose to do, knowing that they are fated to die. Do they repent for their misdeeds or try to find a way to escape their punishment?

The story you gave is one possibility—it's entirely possible for them to "fail" their goal and die miserably. However, success or failure is ultimately only a means of self-satisfaction because—as previously stated—these people are fated to die.

(... Though not necessarily from their curse.)

When a person knows he is about to die.

He will just live his life as he always wanted to buy couldn't as there was something in his life which made him to stop doing what he wanted to.

So either they will live how they wanted to.

Or they will do evil because when a human knows he will already die at this date.

Even the most bullied will fight when he knows he will die that day.

There was no need for him stay at fear as his death is very near.

In simple when a person knows he is about to die.

He will do something what he will always wanted to do.

Okay? I hope this explains it

One of them goes on a rampage, as he is cursed to die in 100 days, not before.

Another copies him, only to be mortally wounded and put into an artificial coma from wich he will never wake up.

One of them spends all of his ill-gotten gains to prevent his ultimate fate.

Another seeks revenge from those who wronged him and his.

One of them takes the path of internal redemption and becomes a holy man.

Another seeks redemption through dismantling the criminal organization he was a part of, and goes to the authorities.

One of them turns to the dark arts in hope of transferring his curse to someone else.

Another bargains with the one that cursed him.

One of them accepts his fate, and waits for death peacefully.

Another rages against it, and writes beautiful poetry.

One of them decides to see the world and travels far.

Another returns to his long lost family.
