I have sail the sea YouTube for many a millennium, and although I no longer fraternize with as many Minecraft YouTube videos, I have seen a pattern.

I will admit this part is a bit before my time, and the history is mostly unknown to me but here we go.

In the beginning Team Crafted disbanded and it was a thing. Some of the people in it were already established, but it helped boost a few, I noticed it first with some of these people.
The YouTubers would grow huge (and rich) off Minecraft, but would eventually get kinda bored, so they would do something like have Minecraft be a certain day, and on some other days they would do non-Minecraft stuff. Around this point the would probably get an editor or two. They would continue to grow huge until they’d get burnt out, or life would hit them hard (usually both), and they would take a break. Their huge growth would stop, and even if they come back it would a lot less ambitious.

I’m probably forgetting some parts of the formula, but that is the jist of it.
