But to boil it down for suggestions, TL;dr. There is always a cause and then an effect. Say a word, sound is made. Pull on existence, something happens. Believe enough, and an effect can accrue.
Magic system:
Will, Fc shards, and Aspects. And one’s center (Only if one has a soul. Or something similar)
Will: The physical manifestation of one’s existence. Hard to explain what part exactly, but for sure carries one’s intents, desires, emotions, and core memories. This gives it a flavor, a you flavor. The form Will manifests in depends highly on the existence it’s born from.
Will changes existence. Shaping and molding it to its desires. Flame wish’s for char and endless smoke. Water wish’s for calm and flow, guiding all. Earth… Earth wants rock. Wind is the same, wants freedom, and everything to be dispersed. (These are examples of wills.)
Fc shards are formed when physical matter is oversaturated by will of an aspect, causing them to permanently merge together.
The Fc shard -- depending on the aspect — has a pattern, this pattern constantly loops, over and over. Sorta like a fractal. If broken it will break exactly to keep this pattern. This pattern is distinct mark of the aspect it comes from. This pattern also pulls in the related aspect.
Fc shards allow one to channel their Will through it, and connect to the aspect.
(They’re like scars. A swimmer drowning, but surviving will have them grow within his lungs, enhancing him, but changing his philology)
Aspect. A distinct piece of existence. The most basic are water, earth, fire, and wind. But there is a few weird concepts. The amount of aspects is almost infinite.
An aspects will isn’t a normal one. It only begins to manifest one’s a high amount of a certain aspect in concentrated in a certain space. Making the location in a way live. Hell, rumors of a certain place can cause will to manifest.
Aspect is just a cool word for matter, a distinct form of matter.
Side note: If something exist’s there is a reason to its existence. So are just a natural phenomenon that appeared due to something else existing. Will is a major example. But life force is one, the physical manifestation of someone’s health. If someone is injured or sick, it decreases, but once healthy again it’ll fill up.
