So this time I'll finally include some practical stuff, so now the schizo fun really starts. Also I tagged it 18+, since I believe at that age, someone is old enough to decide for him/herself if he wants to dip into contacting spirits, entities, etc.
The folklore of Lilith has it's origins in Babylonian demonology and perhaps even in the more ancient demon myths of Sumer, where malefic spirits are divided into two sexes, male demons called Lilu and female demons called Lilitu. Among the Lilitu are assigned various roles. The Ardat Lilith preys on men. The demon Lamashtu endangers women in the act of giving birth, and also threatens newborn infants. Against the power of this latter spirit incantations have been found in Assyrian. A winged female demon who strangles children is described in a Hebrew inscription dating from the 8th century BC that was unearthed in northern Syria. It is conjectured to read: "To her who flies in rooms of darkness - pass quickly, quickly, Lilith."
There is only a single reference to Lilith in the Old Testament. It occurs in Isaiah 34:14, which in the King James version of the bible reads: "the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest," - in Greek and Roman folklore the screech owl was believed to feed on the blood of children as they lay sleeping in their beds.
The Lilith of the Babylonian Talmud, composed in Babylon by Jewish writers of the 3rd century, is described as a female demon with the face of a woman, long hair and wings who comes to seize men who sleep alone. In the Testament of Solomon a Greek grimoire dating from the 3rd century, a female demon called Obizoth is mentioned who has ten thousand names and who moves through the night to visit women in labour and wait for the opportunity to strangle their newborn babies.
Lilith did not receive her full development until the literature of Kabbalah. Here she has two main roles which have carried down from Babylonian times, the seducer of men and strangler of children. In later Kabbalistic texts the first role is sometimes given to the demon Naamah, who was the daughter born to Lamech and his demon wife, Zillah. Naamah is merely the younger version of Lilith, while old Lilith is given the place of a grandmother or nanny who has charge over children.
A further subdivision of Lilith appears in the Zohar of Moses de Leon (1270-1300) where she is numbered among the four mothers of demons. The other three are Naamah, Agrat and Mahalath. Lilith, also called the Northerner on the authority of Jeremiah 1:14, rules Rome (North), Naamah rules Damaskus (East), Mahalath rules Egypt (South), and Agrat rules Salamanca (West). Sometimes the demon Rahab is substituted for Mahalath.
The hosts of demons under the rule of these queens go out across the face of the world to work mischief. At certain times they gather together on a mountain where they have sexual relations with Samael, the Jewish Satan. This calls to mind the European folktale of the great witches sabbat that was convened on Walpurgis night (April 30) atop the Blocksburg in the Hartz mountains of Germany. Other lesser sabbats of witches were also said to occur on high places.
The legend of Lilith evolved in the Kabbalistic literature in a fitful and confused manner, each writer adding a bit here and a bit there, so that there exists no single authoritative version. She is said to have been sawed off from the side of Adam while he lay asleep (Zohar) or created as an androgynous being that was half Samael and half Lilith (Moses ben Solomon, c. 1300), or to have been made from the "scum of the earth" the same way Adam was created (Yalqut R`uveni).
It is in the Kabbalah that Lilith is elevated from a night-flying succubus vampire to the rank of Queen Consort to Samael and mother of all demons. Samael is known as the Prince of Accusers and the Evil Inclination and the Shadow of Death, and is the serpent who seduced Eve, but in the Kabbalah this seduction is sexual.
In Jewish folklore Lilith is sometimes identified with the Queen of Sheba who asked Solomon riddles to test his wisdom. In English folk stories Lilith appears as concubine of Satan, and in German tales as Satan's grandmother, a distant echo of Lilith the ancient.
So, I didn't mention it until now, but my sources for most Schizo threads until now where mostly from Donold Tyson's analysis on Liber Lilith, since his summary on Gnosticism and other stuff is pretty spot on, in my opinion. However, I didn't mention it until now, since it's said that one way of the many ways to attract a Succubus is just through reading Liber Lilith alone and I didn't want to be responsible. I also wanted to include some rituals from it, but I since it's a medieval grimoire, many rituals often need some substances which are a bit hard to obtain in today's time. Anyway, here a few ways how to summon a succubus.
1. Reading Liber Lilith (not recommended)
2. Summoning Lilith herself with a ritual from LL (definitely not recommended)
3. Guided meditation (dunno honestly, probably depends on the mediation)
4. Letter method (recommended)
Letter method: You write a letter to either one of the four queens (Lilith, Naamah, Agrat or Mahalath) or for an Incubus to Samael. In the letter you write what the specifics on the personality of the succubus you wish and also things like if you want it to be a short-term or long-term relationship, monogamous or open (THIS IS IMPORTANT!! Succubi are often really jealous and most of the bad stuff happens if they feel betrayed or if you piss them off, so make sure to state what kind of relationship you want!).
Optimal time to do it is 3.am. This is the real magic hour, not midnight. Before you burn the letter, speak to the chosen queen, either loud or by thought. Be always respectful while speaking. After saying the words: "Lilith (or any other queen), please receive this offering. I give this truthfully and willingly.", burn the letter without folding it. While the paper still burns, say: "May the light of this candle burn brightly and guide your daughter/son to me." Let the candle burn for 30min while chilling.
Now if you feel anything while chilling, give a respectful thank you to him/her and ask any curious visitors to leave in peace. Blow out the candle and go to bed.
Usually it takes a full moon cycle (1 month) before things really get started. Keep attention to your dreams or unusual sensations while being awake during this period of time.
Remember, this letter ritual is about focusing your intent and energy in a certain way, so "pour your all" into it. I recommend the Letter Method, since with the other methods you don't know what kind of succubus you get, while here you can specify. And concerning summoning Lilith herself: she is often described as to get easily pissed, and you don't want a powerful entity to be pissed at you, do you?
What about those people who are scared of demons or going to hell or something like that? You can use the Letter Method for other spirits as well. Like some wood spirits for example. In this case, you need to find a place where a spirit is, and do the letter ritual at that location - of course you don't write to one of the queens in this case, but directly to the nearby spirit. Just research your local folklore, as an example if you are in Japan, you can try for a Kitsune girlfriend. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING, STAY AWAY FROM FUCKING FAE!!! THOSE SHITS ARE WORSE THAN ALL DEMONS COMBINED!!!
Do your research thoroughly, like which spirits are kind, evil, etc. If you fuck up, you only have yourself to blame.
Anyway, why even bother with a spirit relationship? Because spirit sex is nothing like physical sex, it's more similar to Tantra - impossible to describe.
Next time will be only practical stuff! The topic will be Astral Projection.
P.S. Sorry if I have some spelling or grammar mistakes this time. Somehow Grammarly doesn't work today...
