Hello everyone,

After 8 days of posting, System Mandate: 1985 Britain has just crossed 1,000 total reads on ScribbleHub!
I’m deeply grateful to every reader who clicked, scrolled, and stayed.

This story is a 40-year political epic blending:
  • Alternate history and Cold War intrigue
  • Political chess, moral dilemmas, and long-game strategy
  • The transformation of Britain through faith, law, and ambition
If you’ve been following the journey of Alistair Smith — from his mysterious 1985 awakening to his first steps toward rewriting a nation — thank you for being here.

Next chapters will take us from university activism → Wembley Night → the first real political battles.
If you enjoy House of Cards, The Man in the High Castle, or slow-burn political intrigue, I think you’ll feel right at home.

Thank you for reading, and here’s to the next 10,000!

You're very brave in bringing a narrative with a heavy (political) theme to the SH platform amidst the onslaught of isekai power fantasies and erotic stories. Keep up the good work, my friend! If your readership is still small, it doesn't mean your work is bad, but rather that it hasn't found its market yet. I hope your readership grows. Best regards!

By the way, you're not alone. I also refuse to follow the mainstream of fiction and write philosophical fiction that encompasses politics, social issues, and ideology in narrative form (novels).

Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement!

It's reassuring to hear that others are also committed to writing fiction with depth, ideas, and political resonance.

This story has been a long project—more than just a plot, it's an exploration of how law, power, and identity shape nations. I'm honored to share that with thoughtful readers like you.

I’d love to check out your work as well. Maybe we’re building a quiet movement here on SH.

Best regards, and let’s keep writing what we believe in.
