Hey Scribblehub community! 
I'm the co-author and letterer of Caryo's Cycle, a mystery / horror / fantasy webtoon I create alongside Cloud809, my incredible co-author and artist. We already have three chapters out, and the fourth is in the works — but we lost someone along the way who was supposed to help us, and it's slowing us down.
So we're reaching out to the community!
What we're looking for:
✦ A background/environment artist (urgent!)
We're looking for someone with a genuine illustrator's touch — no 3D, no AI. Real artistic craft is what we're after.
✦ A storyboarder (for later down the line)
Someone able to produce clear, well-structured storyboards that guide the whole team through each chapter.
What we can offer:
We won't sugarcoat it — we can't pay yet. But we genuinely care about shining a light on our collaborators! We're planning contests at the end of each chapter to help boost their visibility on social media. Most importantly, you'd be joining a kind, open-minded team that welcomes discussion, constructive feedback, and creative ideas. Respect is everything to us.
The story?
20 unexplained disappearances in ten years. The Caryo's Hill case is a cursed file, ignored by all investigators... except one. Alvaro, the most brilliant detective, arrives in town, determined to crack this mystery.
His son, Lucian, fascinated by the supernatural, accompanies him. Lucian dreams of being accepted and rivalling his father.
Quickly, something much darker than disappearances lurks beneath the surface. And when the sun goes down, the real nightmare begins.
