Your thoughts on a literal tank character

    1. I actually thought it was some kind of sentient machine, you should reconsider the use of "literal" 2. What do you mean "Basically Goku"? Goku is pretty strong, but he has a lot of options for short, medium and long range attacks. Plus Goku is rarely stand-offish, he is kinda Oaffish. 3. I...

Can you give me some evolution tree for undead creatures?

The "Reanimated" Tree Zombie: A reanimated corpse. Slow, noisy, and overall not effective. Ghoul: After consuming enough vitality from the flesh of others, the loose skin and distended muscles of a zombie harden and compress, creating a ghastly image of something vaguely resembling a human...

    I NEED MOTIVES OR REASONS

So, Hisoka from HunterxHunter, essentially. Clown looking guy, insanely strong, insanely sadistic, but is deeply interested in young talent he can help blossom into great fighters for him to fight in the future just for the sheer enjoyment of it. He is insane, he has a high combat IQ and his...

    Character Alignments

If I had to place my characters into these boxes it would be. Callis: Lawful Neutral (with inclination to good) Novus: Neutral Good (with inclination to chaotic) Berula: True Neutral (with inclination to chaotic) Conatus: True Neutral (with inclination to chaotic) Sagitta: Lawful Good Parvus...

Writing Types of Characters You Like Writing About.

I like writing quirky double acts. I love writing back-and-forth friendly banter. I like eccentric characters with a dangerous edge hidden behind their off-pan remarks and weird behavior. This wasn't for a novel, but recently during a D&D game I was DMing, I introduced one of my all time...

Of course, but that's why you can also make a checklist of your own. I actually work as a writer in my day job, so I have a system already. Still is nice having a visually fun one for teaching newbies.

Never seen this, but I think I've covered most of the bases on this. I've been developing the world for almost a decade. The few things I didn't touch from this table are things that aren't involved with the story, such as multiverses, netherworlds and other realms. I could reply to any...

What's a small detail in your novel that you're unreasonably proud of?

How detailed I managed to make the lore. I'm big into worldbuilding and I dedicated a lot of time into developing this world. I'm happy it came out more or less okay.

    Battle Maps

I did this map for later chapters, to help readers follow the action. Plus it also helped me think about the whole scene from a different perspective

What are anime and manga\webtoons with character designs that you like the most?

At times I don't, but overall I do. I mostly respect the work behind them. But at times he goes overboard. Still he has great designs.

What are anime and manga\webtoons with character designs that you like the most?

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (Araki is top tier in character design) Eyeshield 21 (People love OPM, but the designs in Eyeshield are awesome) Vinland Saga (Peak Viking) Berserk (Peak Body Horror) Sun-Ken Rock (Boichi is such a great artist) The Lazy Lord Masters the Sword (I really like how clean...

Recommendations Kingdom Building with female MCs (That you absolutely recommend)

Sengoku Komachi Kurotan is a great manga. She isn't leading the country, but she is helping it to improve beyond its historical limits (Schoolgirl from a rural high-school travels to the Sengoku period ends up working for Nobunaga)

    "Just call them Zombies!"

I do call my zombies different (Inmortu) and they work slightly differently from Zombies, as they can't infect people. They're more flesh golems or reanimated corpses than actual zombies.

Writing JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Taught Me the Value of Weak Villains

I really recommend reading Araki's "Manga in Theory and Practice" He puts a lot of his ideas to paper (While throwing impossible amounts of shade to other mangakas XD)

    Writing World-building Exercise.

No Vampires and I'm guessing GL is what I'm thinking it is. One of the superior officers of one of the protagonists is married to another woman but is something that is just there, not super explored. Same-sex relationships are usually well seen in most cultures except in a couple and those are...

    Writing World-building Exercise.

Stars are stars, with no weird influence or power. Just big ass balls of plasma burning away in the coldness of space. You mentioned Necromancers, what's the mechanic behind Necromancy?
