the simplest one is probably megaman's arm canon that cyberpunk design feels kinda fragile that you only need to attack the joints for it to fall apart and if it gets stuck somewhere the blade might fell apart as well

i remember some demonstration about the lightning direction with mannequins in andrew loomis book figure drawing for what it's worth or something while you're waiting for it in the meantime, i think you can get it somewhere like archive org or looking on google it's widely available iirc best...

yep it's basically like a more elaborate stickman skeleton that you dress up into actual human and one of the things i remembered back then is that getting a posing mannequin is a good thing esp if you have some desk lamp to see the actual lightning direction.
