Should I finally extend the word count of my chapters?

Honestly just follow what makes you feel like you're doing work right. Usually I write around 1k to 2k, but i can easily get to 3k or 4k and really, if it isn't more than a 500-1000 difference, then it doesn't hurt.

Horror, most definitely. A genre so vast but so underrated. Thank God.

    Worst Writing Trope

What is the worst trope you can meet in a story? One that not only bugs you but puts you off a story completely. :blob_shock:

Do you have villain who is the cause of everything in the protagonist’s life?

I don't plan to have the same villain for all of the story, but the main villain of the first (and second) saga has essentially provoked the protagonist to start her journey. But she is more conditioned by her friends than a villain.

What weird facts do you know?

The illegal part of being a cannibal is not eating a corpse but the way you procure yourself a corpse. At least that's what I heard of.

Swords. We should talk about them.

Pointy stick? It was a stable of greek duels! Spears are also the definition of art. Swords cannot compete! :mad_s:

How to write a yandere into a story

The perks of the dere genre (or the problem of it, depends on how you see it) is that it's an simplification of how a... Well... Normal person works. It's tropes used by japanese authors to make simple characters. So, by this logic, it's not that complicated. Make a character (girl or boy, you...

    Character Inconsistencies

Yes, happens to me, I know people change everyday, but sometimes I write them doing some stuff they would NEVER do. Another reason why, before publishing, feedback from readers is important, a lot of times I've been corrected on stuff like this.

    I Can't Write Synopsis

Try to ask for tips from readers, I used to ask people to summarize my story, I would mix the summary together and add some on my own.

Swords. We should talk about them.

Who cares about swords? GLORY TO SPEARS! Anyway I agree, thinking about it what you said could be applied to fighting in general, it has to be detailed, not just a "I punch you, you punch me, we talk" as if we were doing some weird OP roleplay. But, I can understand, writing is difficult in...

    What makes your lead unique?

It has been a problem for a while that... I just felt like my lead is pretty much as interesting as a side character, so I've decided to fixate his entire development on becoming interesting.

    Is my book cover handsome?

Not bad, but as tiaf said, the title is horrible. It's not very noticeable and generaly unattractive, so try to change it.
