What exactly does one put in the glossary section? Is it just for explaining terms and concepts in your stories, or what?

I've begun to move some of my writing from another website onto ScribbleHub, and I've just been wondering if anyone has any advice regarding gaining a following here, or at least getting people to actually take a look at my work.
