    Editing Why does this keep happening?

    My guess: Google Docs has more sophisticated text formatting tools. SH less so. To SH, a paragraph is a paragraph and the underlying code representing a paragraph is spaced the same, no matter what. Google Docs (or any other word processing software), gives you more control over the space...

    Does your family know that you are a writer?

    My parents "know" in that I wrote and illustrated my first "book" when I was 6. I think my mom still has it. I've told my husband I write as a hobby, and his very on-brand response was "oh ok." Otherwise, the only folks who know are me, the cat, and the dog.?‍♀️
