    Do you mean those "Palliser Shots"? Yeah. They don't explode when they hit a target. The base had a hollow pocket but was not filled with powder or explosive. It's because they had difficulties making these large projectiles without cracking the iron base when they are cooled off.

    For me, I think you should plan it out first. Think of the best future scenarios for your story. I posts my chapters by daily, due to the fact that I've already planned it out. Aand that I'm bored. In the end, it all comes to your imaginative thinking and determination to write your story...

    Just take a break. Don't force yourself to write a chapter. If you got mind-blocked, so be it. Just relax and you'll certainly get new ideas while on it.

    It depends. I, however, can be merciless. I might even write where some nasty evil massacred those children. But in the end, justice will prevail. Cause it's important to give a sense of meaning into what was happening about the story and to give a sense of relief and justice to the readers..
