Yeah, but this is just like an addition. Since in order to prevent Kadokawa from being bought out by a foreign power, they were in the process of negotiating with Sony. It just turns out due to the branch, the souls series is likely to get wrapped up in it.

Also, in the direction for that. Last I heard, they were gonna own the souls series on top of that. I don’t care about that series, but their track record? I expect that to be run into the ground as well.

Book 4 finale, Book 9, A Hero’s Soul, and the series finale in Book 9. As noted by the timeline, the main mentions they haven’t used the state in years. Implying, after Book 4, they never had the need to go that far again.
