I hate the competitive environment on the forum, and feel like it encourages bad habits. When I tried I was only able to get 10,000 words done ( I had just gotten out of the Flash Fiction phase ). Nowadays I can blow 10,000 words in a week, not a month. I've optimized ways to write more quickly...

Ah hands down Battle Angel Alita. Saikano and Elfen Lied come really close. I'm kind of over: Gantz, Ikigami, Embalmer, Eternal Sabbath. But willing to check out other manga by such artists.

Partially through a spin off story based off the ending of my GameLit. Still playing on the merger of Medieval Fantasy and Cyberpunk science fiction. Millie is going to be fleshed out further in this story, and isn't just Nadine's lover.

Well Nadine was never intended to be OP, however she kind of became OP when she hacked into the system that generated the Artificial Universe Simulation, and used to gain new weapons. This is never explicitely mentioned though, as it's mean to be more a romance story than a LitRPG necessarily...

So yea Mike Mars turns out to be this amazing guy, and was able to find copies of old stories I submitted to his mag. So I've successfully archived all my old short stories.

Simple, I don't have three people talking at once. I can't even mentally keep up with that, I have trouble just talking to one other person. I feel like my mind is often splitting in two when I try. Usually I don't even bother with dialogue, unless I absolutely half to.

Not sure how useful it is, but when you sketch don't use the stiff approach like you do when writing poetry. Rather use what I like to call the "Dagger's Grip" or "Joint Grip". Me getting into writing ended up being a massive rabbit hole, and what I had originally wanted to do was comics / graphic novels.

Is that just a regular pencil, or do you use a special one? ( I'm currently reexperimenting with charcoal, although that doesn't lend to comics real well, unless you also use a blue mechanical pencil. ) As an example ( though my sequential art is still woefully underpracticed. ): Leaning...

I'd much rather it be quiet than the "me, me, me" hellhole the Wattpad forums are. For every writing thread, there was at least twenty web forum games that had nothing to do with writing. And generally, a very toxic mean girls atmosphere. And balancing that with how toxic twitter can be too.

Actually I manged to reach that word count minimum fairly easily. I just haven't done a full length short story in a while, mostly poetry and flash fiction. I was wondering about the minimal length.
