If you guys haven’t done it yet you should look up how to read Korean. It’s actually super easy, and I was able to get the basics down in only like an hour. Just keep in mind this is only phonetically, you still need to learn sentence structure, conjugation and what the words actually mean, which takes a whole lot longer
