    Wizard: Knight's breathing has ended on May 30. The aggregator site only has the final chapter (C666) today.

    The first few half of the work was fun.

    Then it got unfun.

    I will now attempt to swallow the last 13 chapters.

    There are always some gags that I found disappointed to be unable to translate from Mandarin Chinese to English.

    Such as 核平, MTL as nuclear level but it is actually a play between nukes (核能 he neng) and peace (和平 he ping) and turns it into "achieving peace by force (nukes)".

    世界和(核)平 suddenly has a funny vibe.

    Then there is the dig at Amazon's AI store run by Indians, 靠人工的人工智能, MTL can't really help but 人工智能 means artificial intelligence, 靠 means rely on and 人工 actually means manual labor and can also mean man-made ie artificial. So the joke is "an artificial intelligence that runs on human labor".

    God, like dissecting a frog, jokes' not funny any more.

    I have a confession.

    I always thought the handle bars joke with horned girls means blowjob.

    It took me a while but I did found out that it could also apply to doggy style somehow.

    I dunno, still feels weird to grab em by the horns whilst fucking her from rear, a tail grab maybe.

    Grabbing the horns while doggy? I feel It might be disastrous for her back and neck.

    This time because the character interaction is off plus the cheat that MC got is vague as nine hells.

    "The Strongest Body"? What does it do? Apparently it is just the No-Fatigue cheat from the JP novel and MC can endlessly grind to increase body strength.

    Second problem, the MC i sbland and everyone in the work is unlikable, starting with MC "best friend" who is a rotten human being through and through.

    When MC showed imrpovement and even excelling in class, the guy was the first to show hostility while others are just envious of MC.

    Long story short, it is the typical familial drama from a large clan. Made worse when MC mother was forced to commit suicide to save her son.

    Well, the chinese novel that I am binging on does lives up to its accusations.

    The thing has a total of 705 chps and at chp 314, the repeating patterns are killing me.

    If anyone ever doubt about quality of chinese novels, or to prove the fact they got hundreds of masterpieces/highquality works in WN form and unknown to the majority (as they don't get "manhua" adaptation unlike manhwa)

    I had given chance to some works that I previously dropped (and can still find, those that I forgotten I take it as fate) and reread some.

    All of them always ended up dropped again.
    I can skip tens of chapters forwards and read and still not like it.
    I can read for very far, thinking that the author has finally got it, only for the ball to drop and I quit.

    Welp. Also happened to me, in the period when i rushed looking through the uukanshu pages
    collected 20 series
    only to have 19 be dropped

    Though luckily didnt really have high expectations from them. More like throwing seeds randomly hoping it grow.

    Liked I said earlier, I like physical violence and I am capable of tanking chinese nationalism until a certain extent.

    I also enjoy the MC to keep his mouth shut and kill when needed to. 苟道 aka being methodical and cautious is fine, being a complete spineless coward is not.

    And I already kept to not reading unfinished castrated works as well as only attempting when author has 100+ chps.
