A paper plate of thick fries sat on the table. Steam rose from the golden flakey brown potato cut into ridges. Oil crisped edges curled into a toasty burn. A sprinkling of salt shone under the light. Vinegar glazed a portion of the offering while piled ketchup bulged at the side.
