The temptation to fall asleep while at work is strong...

I've often heard teachers say that they learn from their students just as much if not more than their students learn from them

So this might be a chance to learn how to sleep at school from them

^ While it is true that we also learn from our students, I cannot fall asleep in school, or some snitch will report me to higher-ups and I'd get an "incident report."

Flips can be vicious in trying to take you down. This is why the term "Crab Mentality" is relatable at our workplace culture.

If you have a class scheduled (I'm pretty sure they're like one hour long) you can designate it to your students as a free period as long as they don't leave the classroom.

Then you get to catch up on your sleep

Sometimes my teachers back in highschool would just assign an independent reading period while they slept at their desk

@Lorelliad @ShrimpShady that's not how it works in Philippine Public Schools. Every higher up is going around observing if the teachers are 'working,' that is, you're standing in the middle of the class teaching.

If I'm resting in our faculty, I should be doing something else, or the snitches will say "Sir Hans is lazy and is not doing anything."

So, my best bet is to go out, and have a coffee.
