Sine then, each rewrite rather adds than removes. A few new lines here and there, but that is because I am now certain how my narrative voice and structure looks like.

Hmm...I'm mulling about dividing my long chapters to around 2.5k - 3k. So what do you think? Should I just add them to the old books and adjust the chapter numbering, or create a new story for it?

I'm kinda apprehensive because of my former mistakes of deleting them before, hence I'm doubtful if I should create a new book if ever I divide my chapters.

:meowsip: Both works, but it depends on how large you are, I would say. If you have a good reader and popularity base, divide. If not, then you can also burn down the entire house, figuratively speaking, and rebuild it.

Also 2.5 -3k is meat. Maybe 1.5 - 2.5k?

I doubt it will work with mine. You know how I build my stories. I tried 1k to 2.5k range, but it can't really keep up with how I do things.
