so the king dug the land, got the gold and made free centers to distribute food, medicine and opened hospitals and stuff! Am I reading a propoganda!!?

And then people became lazy.... cause free food and stuff. So no one went to work! This! THIS IS THE ONLY CORRECT REAL THING THE STORY TALKS ABOUT!

Now, the neighboring kingdom's king got jealous of all the gold they had so he attacked them and demanded gold!

And then I got so rage baited that I quit the story!

You forgot the ebil spice trading company that took over both kingdoms afterwards with the help of fire weapons~.

But I find it funny how they teach ethics through fairy tales, it has a charming touch~.

But it also feels somewhat naive. Like something you would do in a fantasy novel. Like if you could get some ancient wisdom just from a retelling.

true. Back at school they'd always give me some weird moral teaching story for comprehension reading and then ask the weirdest questions.

not only that... back in 1st grade till 6th, we had an extra book talking about lives and stories of great men... to cultivate morals.
