Holy shit. Finally!

I am quite saddened that it has come to this, since this site was made with partial intention of archiving old translations whose original sites had gone down. There are quite a few good archived translations I love, but I guess I will have to go to the many pirate sites to reread them now.

Turns out, piracy is quite good, after all.

That was true for RRL, but not here. So... maybe memories are getting crossed here?

@L1aei nope, GDLiZy is right. While SH bears the slogan the Home of Original Stories, it was also made with helping translators from hosting hassle and archiving in mind (also fanfictions, again, despite that it says original).

In that case... I don't know what to say when there's evidence Tony claiming otherwise. How do I respond to this?

I was there when this site was made. I could probably find the discussion about hosting dead translation on SH, but frankly I'm too lazy to try.

According to my readers, one of my stories "Invader Syndrome" was taken down this morning, ostensibly because it was falsely flagged as a translation? I don't do translations and never have, all of my stories are written by me.

@Cambrian shoot an email to [email protected] , it is the fastest way to get in touch with Tony. He can restore it from the backend if it's indeed the case.

@Corty Understood, have already done so! Hopefully its as simple as that.

I dislike this change. I've heard that the reason you banned this is because many people made translations and didn't credit the author or didn't disclose that the story is a translation, but there is a story (Creating Heavenly Laws) that fully disclosed it being a translation and the original author. I want CHL back so I can reread it. I made an account to complain about this. Please, at least give me back CHL.

@wheredidthetranslationsgo I'm afraid Tony won't be able to help you. You see, I live in his basement and there are many tasty cables here. One thing let to another and yeah... I chewed too hard and too greedy and awoken banrog. Don't blame me though, or I will say you are an ableist since I'm retarded.

Even though, I always credited the author. Report my own translations so they stay hidden. I respect your decision. Thank you for everything! I had a good time on ScribbleHub. The interface is nice and simple. Can someone send the code so I can make my own? Jk xD

Another page that is going to shit... shame... RIP, Scribblehub... the literal majority of my reading list just went to oblivion... this page was a good alternative for translators who actually put a lot of effort into translating their novels, especially when Webnovel randomly started taking down translated facings, but mods decided to give Scribblehub a rather painful death instead...

Translations should have been marked as translations and hidden from all listings. But less and less did so and the site was cluttered with translations. Blame translators who broke the rule and hocked the rankings.
