Writing short horror stories is good practice.

Definitely. Writing short stories is a good advice in general for writing. But I have never in my life been able to think of an ending and attempting to do so gives me an existential crises.

But you know. I do hope that following a simple template of [MC enters horror place -> MC Kills horror -> MC exists] works
