You're right. I don't want to blame the thread creator. I even think the thread was actually quite well-intentioned.

However, inappropriate language can potentially be interpreted differently by other users.

You know... misunderstandings are one of the causes of conflict. My advice only applies if you want to avoid problems.

As you know, some people will purposely twist your words or make strawman arguments. So even when you do use proper, polite language, if someone decides to, they can magically put different words in your mouth and argue with themselves. This advice is good—I just don't think OP is the person you should be giving it to. This time, at least.

Well, you can ignore my message. I might be wrong. Despite what happens on the field... sometimes good intentions aren't enough to save you from conflict.

Please tell me where I used inappropriate language? Was it before or after I was told that women were never oppressed and minorities are the bad guys here? You only try to police me. So leave me alone.
