It didn't help that thing yesterday really set some bias in... Like they read the synopsis and the first three sentences of the prologue lmao

Feedback is mostly useless. It's a good way to humble yourself, but it doesn't do anything if you can't apply it. The people that gave good tips for writing are mostly not on anymore. I recommend just watching YouTube videos on writing and reading actual books with prose you like.

That's what I did. And a little creative writing in college.

Oh, but if you read a book to learn, you have to activate the part of your brain that's studying it instead of trying to read for pleasure only.
