Tell me your impressions... if possible.

clear direct writing style. no obvious spelling grammar issues. Very strong soft sweet mommy love vibe. Very refreshing and I guess traditional is the right word. Not some ultra modern single mommy waltzing around just in charge of the whole universe, like I get in a lot of single mom stories. I can see the two of them petting babby kitties and daughter being taught to show love and affection.

also the sugary sweetness has those hints at what mom once was. I'm forced to imagine her dragging some corrupt politician into the town square and chopping his head off, or opening his guts up and leaving him to die slow. but i have to imagine it, its just hinted at. I like how she's calm and sweet but still fully capable of ruthless violence.

I'm a fan of her seeming to have some rigid inner code. i get the sense that if you violate that code, the kid gloves come off and she takes your head. no remorse.
