Nah, it's too late to try and understand now. You're so annoying. You only want to understand when it's beneficial to you. And then you will frame my entire argument as something that I am not saying. If you have complains about something, logically that's because you think another system will work better? Huh?

Well, why bring it up in the first place.
They are even more capitalist than we are.
This is what tripped me up from the beginning.

I brought it up because Tsuru mentioned China. We were talking about how school funnels people into factory lives. China has a bunch of factories and a lot of workers for them. Though, probably less now since smaller Asian countries started producing more. It was a response to Tsuru.

I know that, but why is being more capitalist the problem? It seems you are conflating it to be synonymous with dehumanizing factory work.

Because that's what happens with monopolies. Andrew Carnegie and Rockefeller are early examples of that. When a private company grows large enough, dehumanizing factory work is a byproduct.

You could probably say that about any large organization.

Also, I think monopolies are always state chosen, rather than happen organically. They become integral to the functioning of a country.
Government is the biggest customer.

I guess i thought you were talking like a socialist, but you aren't taking that position.
You take the position against dehumanizing work.

I just don't believe that it is capitalism alone that is the problem, or even the main issue.

It is unregulated capitalism and corporate lobbying to change laws that make it harder for new companies.

I sort of agree, but not fully.

Overregulation also favors monopolies and makes it harder for new businesses because costs skyrocket.
Envylope

That's incorporated in corporate lobbying. Regulation makes companies lobby to make regulations to make costs higher for new companies. Lobbying should not be legal, and politicians should not be able to trade stocks.

I would make politicians make the median income of their state. Incentivize them to make their state income higher, and then I would have the federal government oversee this process with cameras and documentation that is open to the public. That way you can avoid fraud where they lie about state income.

Unfortunately, money is more persuasive than good practice.

I don't think China is a good example either. They are even more capitalist than we are. They funnel people into factories still.
True. (i forgot to add to my post : But its still bad place / Not forgiving what they do)

I also saw recently, few weeks ago, a video, where there is a rythmic chinese song (martial arts anime opening lvl of catchy), but the twist is you see deadface workers in factories.

And i thought : god. Thx god my grandparents decided to go to where i am abroad, and my parents being successful.

Because they were zombie-like.
One dude was gazing to the void, while resting his head on the wall, in front of the factory line.
Women carrying food trail / cafeteria and they were deadpan eyed.
A worker, being criticized&BEATEN to the ground and carried away like a medieval gladiator.

Hence no wonder a chinese CEO dude of a "delivery" (scooter) company, by simply boosting salary to "normal lvl" made viral buzz in their country and was considered a "god" by its employees.

I could bet the employees would punch you in the face if you dared to say something bad about him.

That is how bad it is there.

PS : My luck as usual, i speak, bad stuff happens.
PPS : Or is it that bad stuff will happen hence something push me to speak ? I have no clue.

It's nothing to do with you. Mine and his vibes aren't right. It's like people that aren't compatible. Also because I hadn't eaten and was hungry that made it worse.
