I dislike 343 industries if that is what you are talking about. They ruined Halo which was one of my favorite childhood games.

Not in a significant way. I mainly like the aesthetics. And material for a potential future fanfic or scifi novel. So lore videos were useful, and the narrative choices of 343 were ... questionable, to say the least.

They wanted to milk the MC. I dislike fanfic personally, but I have considered Halo fanfic when I was a fan of the series. I hesitate to call myself a fan of anything anymore because how much we get burned as fans. The issue with 343 is they made the product more generic.
